My only instinct right now? Run. Get away from here. At least from my tribe. hopefully away from all people. Isolate myself.
I was the source of all my people's problems. The harsh winters, although I thought they where beautiful, They caused starvation. It was all my fault.
I don't know why I know this, but I do.
I run. And I run. Until my lungs can take it no longer.
I always knew I was different. My light skin and hair differed greatly from my tanned and dark haired tribemates.
I found a small cave and decide to camp out here the night.
I slept terribly. My dreams riddled with a beautiful woman clothed with draping robes. I knew she was trying to say something, But I had no idea what.
I ventured out again. I had no idea what I'd eat. I couldn't tell the difference between an edible berry and wooden stake. And the area around here was barren of animals. I decided that I would just wonder on.
And to my very surprise I met some one that I would soon come to know very well.
"Hello, Ice." The boy in front of me said.
"My name is not Ice." I told him.
"But you'd better get used to it. Everyone else will be calling you that for the next millennia, provided you live that long, boy.
"Why do you call me 'boy' You look hardly any older than me."
"Yes, Well, I happen to be over a hundred years old. Now, I prefer we not waste time Eva wished to meet you right away as soon as I told her about you. Now, take my hand We'll be there in a matter of secends."
So I grabbed his hand, and, in a matter of seconds we seemed to be in an underground base.
"Who are you?" was all I managed to say before blacking out.
