Maybe that's what life is a wink of the eye and winking star

Stars twinkled in the darkness. A being floated around, pulling the stars from his pack and placing them in the sky. As he got down to his last star, the being gazed into the space around him, then sighed. This universe was a newborn, one with no life yet. Hopefully, it would gain some soon, but it appeared unlikely. The being smoothed back his black hair, put the star in its place, then opened a portal back to his universe. He stepped through the bright blue tunnel of weaving threads and the portal closed behind him.
Everything was still. Silence held tight to the entire land. Then, something changed. The final star trembled, shaking a little as its brightness wavered. The brightness dimmed then intensified at a level that would be too much for regular human eyes. The star exploded, flames erupting from its core and licking dangerously at the surrounding stars. As the remains of the star’s outer coat floated away from the source of the explosion, a bright white light suddenly felt the hold of gravity.
The spark shot towards the nearest planet, eager to see what was pulling it. It crashed through the surface of the planet with high speeds, breaking the planet apart as if nothing had been there to hinder the spark’s path at all. The spark slowed, the gravity now lost. However, the spark soon felt another tug and resumed its race. It danced through space, twirling as it repeated this pattern, breaking apart planets as it zoomed through the space. It spotted another planet and began to spiral towards its next victim. This time, however, the spark barely dented the surface of the planet. The spark embedded into the dull surface and then slowly dimmed.
Smoke curled from the center of the dimming spark. Slowly, the light died and the smoke drifted away; the crater being the only signal of the crash site. Darkness began to cloak the area again and any chance of life was steadily slipping out of the universe’s grasp.
And then there was a breath.
A remnant of the spark slowly shifted in shape, changing into a shape with two arms, two legs, a torso, and a head. The glow slowly faded from this new shape, but the color of the body’s skin would forever be stained the same color as the spark from which is came.
The remnant lifted up its two arms and stared at its hands. It moved them slowly, fascinated by this form. It lifted its hands and rubbed its head, startled to find a silky substance that threaded around its fingers. The remnant put its hands on the ground, dust coating its fingers. Then, the remnant pushed up.
It stumbled, its legs not yet used to this form. Holding out its arms to give it balance, the figure put one of its feet in front of the other. It repeated this action until it reached the edge of the crater. The remnant collapsed against the side of the crater, a dust cloud erupting around the body. The remnant coughed, the dust scratching the insides of its lungs. It coughed to the side and spit. The remnant watched as the dust darkened where its spit sunk in. It poked the dark spot with its toe and quickly noticed that the soil there was moist.
It felt a slight spark and noticed a small light as its feet. The remnant stared as the spark spread, the dust being replaced with a green substance. However, the remnant felt weaker the further the green spread. The remnant yanked away its foot, not liking the weak feeling. It bent down to the green and examined it closely. The crater was filled with the green, except for the center, which held something different. The remnant ran its fingers through the green surface. It was sticky, clinging to the remnant’s fingers.
